Nationally and internationally, Gabriela Melano almost three decades years of professional experience in the fields of Education and Social Development. Trained as an Educational Psychologist and with extensive experience in community development, Dr. Melano as been serving as an organizational development consultant since 1996. She provides several types of services supporting collective decision-making processes—including mediation, group facilitation, systemic planning, participatory action research and evaluation processes, intercultural communication and teamwork. An avid systemic thinker, she is also fully proficient in English and Spanish and is a graphic recorder. Her creative demeanor, authentic amicability and playful sense of humor are added values in her professional style and often referred to by her clients as “a breath of fresh air!”
Dr. Melano holds a Master’s Degree in International Education from Harvard University (1991) and a Doctorate in Organizational Development vis-à-vis Intercultural Matters from the University of San Francisco (2003).
