I am drawn to number 3 because of the prominence of the sub-title and its help defining the meaning of the title. The blinding sun and the title are a bit strong. Number 1 is comforting and feels like one should be having tea while reading it.
You sound like the publisher!!!!
I like number 3 because it goes best with the genre. It reminds me of other successful titles in this area.
I prefer cover 2 because it's friendly, non-academic and contemporary looking, would grab my attention in a bookstore if I were just browsing, and looks different from the majority of self-help books. Cover 1 is OK. Cover 3, although nice looking, is just another version of the same old thing that we've seen many times.
#3 because No More Regrets could mean a lot of things, but the subtitle punches out more in #3 and that spells out what the title really means. I also like the colors and the sunshine or light motif.
I immediately chose #3 precisely because it looks exactly like what it is: a self-help book, and probably a good one (although I'm feeling a bit sheepish after reading Richard's comment). I'm getting an Erma Bombeck vibe from #2, and Ron's remark about having tea while reading #1 is spot-on.
Cover three... hands down for me. i am not even on the fence on this one!
For me, Cover 3 feels cheesy. The drop shadow, the hokey sunset -- personally I wouldn't trust it. Looks like a million other get rich get well get happy books. I like #2. Fresh, clean -- a new start, straightforward no gimicks. The typography feels a bit too skrunched. All that open clean space and then that heavy forceful sans serif. Nonetheless it is much more attractive to me than #3. I would pick it up and look at it more closely.
